Spike "Olde English Bulldog in Killeen, TX

Spike "Olde English Bulldog"

3 Years Old B-Day is SeptemberIf you have no dogs, well this dog is great to have:I nearly had him all his life. Previous owner did something that causes him not to like other dogs (my wifes mother). Had him for 3 years. He is house broken and trained. He stays with you without a leash (once he knows you're the boss and as long as no dogs are around). He knows the yard parameter. He knows sit, lay down, stay, off, out, go on, no, outside, walk, back, food, speak and crawl. He also knows hand gestures (come here, go on, back) He does not chew on anything he believes is not his. But he does need to have bones. I have plenty here that I will give you so you will be fine there, but getting a bone 1 month typically savors his "thirst." I know this breed needs to chew, so I have not had the chance for me to not get something new longer then a month so I really don't know. But my experience is no, he wont chew on anything. He is stubborn (that is the olde english bulldog breed) a little, so consistency is key. He knows when you or the family eats, he knows to make a distance and will wait until you are done. He KNOWS when its time for him to eat (twice a day) he will whine. He sleeps most of the time but plays occasionally. He barely barks unless he sees someone on the yard or around the house. He is a indoor dog (his breed cannot handle the heat too much). Sleeping on couches is a thing that he does. Of course he is house broken but now he is accustomed to dog door, but he can adapt. He does not go after his dog food bag even when its in sight, he does not get into the trash can even if its overflowing. He will however, go after...the bathroom trashcan (I'm married) so cleaning that is recommended. Quirks:He licks the shower certain when you are in itHe drools like hooch (turner and hooch) if he KNOWS you are going to give him the food and hes been waiting for awhile hahaha. Have to change his water bowl because of his drool. No he does not drool everywhere, just when he knows he is going to get food.He snores, but very lightly. He farts and belches. His tongue sticks out occasionally. He is scared of anything he is not used to that is equal or bigger then him. Took me moderate of time for him to get used to the broom, lightning, and little sort of other things. This breed is "requiring order." They strongly prefer "keep things the same way." If not he gets grumpy. Which all English Bulldogs and Olde English Breeds are in agreement with. He loves apples and certain veggies (i know he is weird)If he is on the road, he will find the place where feet go and lay down there. But once you leave the car he immediately gets to the front. He is great with kidsHe is fully vaccinatedNo I do not have his pure breed papers, but you look at him its obvious. He is fixed.========NOTICE: This dog is NOT friendly to other dogs at first. He likes to be known as the alpha. Once that has been established he is calm, if you have a passive/aggressive or aggressive dog. Not recommended for this dog. There are two other dogs here, one is passive (they get along fine) and other is passive aggressive (they fight every 3 days) Text or call [removed phone]
